Watch out for Wow Air

Wow Air often has cheap tickets to Iceland if you are traveling from Copenhagen, but remember to read the conditions before buying a ticket. We found out the hard way, that Wow Air does not allow hand luggage over 42x32x25cm/ 17x13x10in on the plane. The size –  42x32x25cm/ 17x13x10in – is the equivalent of a laptop, so it’s a really bad idea to bring a trolley as hand luggage. We did that, and suddenly we had to pay a bit more than 100 dollars/80 euros for every bag we wanted to bring in the cabin. We had three, so suddenly the ticket wasn’t so cheap anymore.

Luckily we weren’t the only ones who had missed this pretty important piece of information, so a small riot was building at the gate when people tried to bring their normal hand luggage on board.  The people standing first in line had to pay the fine, but after a while and some pretty harsh discussions everybody was let in with whatever hand luggage they were carrying. It seemed like time was running out for Wow Air.

Most airlines allow hand luggage with a size about 55x40x23cm/21.5×15.7×7.8in.

If you want to know more about how much you can bring in the cabin on a Wow Air, read here: Wow Air.

Godt i slap for at betale.

Forsat held og lykke med bloggen.
